The brand new middle school science curriculum implemented this year consists
of three units. We will begin the year with Science Process Skills in which
the students learn the processes of scientific inquiry (observing, inferring,
identifying and manipulating variables, predicting, hypothesizing, and
organizing and interpreting data)through hands-on activities.
We will be studying the Grand Canyon in the second unit on Earth History.
The final unit of the year, Diversity of Life, uses live specimens (hissing
cockroaches)!
