I have been teaching upper elementary grades for thirteen years. Fifth grade
is an exciting age to teach because there are many emotional, physical, and
mental changes happening during this time. I love teaching at the "Belle"
and am privileged to work with many wonderful people, all of whom make Amy
Belle a special place to grow and learn.
I graduated with a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison...go
Badgers!!! I have a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from
National Louis University.
My daughters' names are Lilium and Magnolia. We live south of Milwaukee in
an outlying suburb. I love gardening, reading books, fishing/boating,
traveling, learning about history, spending time with friends and family,
playing with my dogs Gatsby and Archie, and meeting new people.
To build student self-esteem, promote cooperation, and provide a safe,
interesting environment for learning.
SUCCESS
---Ralph Waldo Emerson
To laugh often and much;
to win the respect of
intelligent people and the
affection of children; to earn
the appreciation of honest
critics and endure the
betrayal of false friends; to
appreciate beauty, to find the
best in others; to leave the
world a bit better, whether by
a healthy child, a garden
patch or a redeemed social
condition; to know even one
life has breathed easier
because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded.
