OWW
Our Old World Wisconsin Field Trip is on Thursday, June 3rd. OWW is one of
my favorite places to visit. It will take us back to life long ago. I am
always thankful for the facilities and "easy" lifestyle we have now compared
to long ago. Remember we go rain or shine so dress accordingly and bring a
lunch! Thank you to Mrs. Hjelsand for volunteering to come on the field trip
with us.

READING RECORDS/MATH LOGS:
Both reading records and math logs are due June 1st. Please have your child
total up the amount of minutes for these items and bring them in. Your
signature is needed on both. The children are working for an A+ charm
this month! Good luck!

BOOKS DUE:
All library books are due on June 1st---Please send them in.

LUNCH WITH MR. McCARTHY:
Ryan's name was drawn as winner of "Lunch with Mr. McCarthy Raffle!" Ryan
will be able to eat with the principal this Friday! Congratulations! Bon
Appetit!

CAREERS:
Thank you to the following parents who came to speak to our fourth grade
about their careers. The parents include: Mrs. Kruger-Chavez, Mr. Notz, Mrs.
Langley, Mr. Hermann, Mrs. Mahlum, Mrs. Langley, Mr. Ward, Mrs. Myatt, Mrs.
Quella, Mr. Powell, and Ms. Krusick. WHAT FASCINATING CAREERS! It was
wonderful to hear the pros and cons and duties! Thank you!!

THANK YOU!!
This will be my last newsletter for the year. The end of the year is always a
two sided... It is wonderful to sit back and see the growth of the children--
academically, socially, and emotionally. However, as a class, we have spent a
lot of time together and it is hard to see the children move onto bigger and
better things--It is as if losing a part of the family. Thank you for
supporting the your child on this fourth grade adventure, the classroom
activities, and me. This group is a good group of children!!! I have truly
enjoyed them.
