Class Play-The Golden Goose
Please keep practicing play lines with your child. The performances are
fast approaching.
Cast Golden (A)-Monday, June 7th from 10:30-11:15am and Tuesday, June 8th
from 1:30-2:15PM.
Cast Goose (B)-Monday, June 7th from 1:30-2:15pm and Tuesday, June 8th from
10:30-11:15am.
I hope many of you are able to come to our performance this year, as the
children have worked very hard to make this play the best that it can be.
Career Week
Thank you to all of the parents who stopped by this past week to talk about
your professions. The students loved hearing about your different lines of
work, and I know that your presentations sparked some interest in some of
these different jobs. Thanks again for providing this rich learning
environment.
Old World Wisconsin
We will be visiting Old World Wisconsin next Thursday, June 3. Notes will
be coming home today, Friday, for all those that volunteered to be a
chaperone. Please know that we will go rain or shine, so have your child
dress appropriately. Also, please remember to pack a cold lunch for your
child if you did not order a school lunch. I recommend tennis shoes, a hat,
sunscreen put on in the morning, and a rain poncho.
Memorial Day
This is just a reminder that Monday, June 1 is Memorial Day. Therefore,
there is no school for your child. Please plan accordingly and enjoy the
long weekend.
Scholastic Book Orders
The last Book Orders are due Wednesday, June 2. This will allow enough
time for the books to arrive. Thanks.
Library Books
All library books are due Wednesday, June 2. Please look around your house
for any books that may be overdue and/or misplaced. Thanks.
Popcorn Friday
The last Popcorn Friday will take place next Friday, June 5th. Please have
your child bring in 25 cents by Friday if they are interested in having
popcorn on Friday.
Book Reports
Please make sure your child is reading their book each evening, so they are
prepared to present next month. The project deadline is fast approaching.
Additionally, cardboard sheets have been handed out. If your child needs
another, please send me a note. The completed projects are due June 7th.
Back Packs
Parents, please check your child's backpack. While your child is now ten
or eleven, they still need help to make sure their backpacks stay organized.
A clean backpack makes it easier for your child to transport homework home
and notes back to school. Thanks for your help with this issue.
Thanks and have a good week.
