This will be my 15th year working in the Germantown School District. I have
spent all 15 years teaching first grade here at Amy Belle Elementary. I love
working with first graders. They grow so much academically from September to
May. It is an amazing experience for all of us!
My husband Cory and I live in Sussex. We have two children. My stepson,
Jason is 25 and my stepdaughter, Jaimie is 23. Besides teaching, I enjoy
running and taking walks with my husband. We also love watching the Packers
and riding our Harley! I also love to spend time with my friends and family
when I am not at school.
I have a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and I
also have my Masters of Education from National-Louis University. I am
certified
to teach grades 1-6.
My mission for my class is teach my students using a variety of teaching
methods. I know from years of experience that no two children learn the
same.
It is my mission as their teacher to meet the varied needs of all my
students. I also will provide my students with good classroom structure
by being both fair and consistent in my management and yet still make
learning fun.
