How does this WebQuest connect to life outside the classroom?
It is important that all Americans understand how our government works, in
participating in this project you have increased your knowledge and
understanding about the workings of our federal government.
You will also be taking part in two additional special activities in
connection with this project.
United States Senator, Russ Feingold, our Senator from the State of
Wisconsin will be visiting our class on May 1st. When Senator Feingold
visits, you will be prepared with relevant and pertinent questions and have
a great background about the U.S. government for our discussion time with
him. You can learn more about Senator Feingold at his website listed
below.
On May 15th, we will be visiting and touring the Wisconsin State Capital and
will have the opportunity to visit the Senate gallery and see the State
Senate in session.
