When may students take AR tests?

Students may take AR tests any time they are finished with their work and I 
am not ready to move on.  They may also take tests before school and during 
recess if they are able to get into the tests by themselves.  Tests may be 
taken during DEAR time but must sign up for DEAR time testing.

How many points does my child need for AR?

1st quarter=8 points   2nd quarter=9 points   3rd and 4th quarter=10 points

How is the memory work chosen?

The memory work comes directly from our Bible curriculum.  The verses are 
related to the stories that we are learning.

When is Show & Tell?

We do not have show and tell in second grade.  There will be times when
students are asked to bring in something related to a lesson to show to the class.

You took a toy away...when does my child get it back?

If a student has an item in the classroom that is causing a distraction he/she
will be given one warning.  After that the item is taken away and will be
returned with the next report card.
