I graduated from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have taught in
Michigan, Florida, and Wisconsin, in grades ranging from pre-k to third.
Racine Christian School has become a family affair for me as my husband
teaches computers and 5th grade, and two of my three children attend RCS. My
oldest daughter graduated from RCS this past spring and now attends Park High
School.
My family and I attend the Racine Christian Reformed Church and enjoy
participating in a home Bible study group. In my spare time I enjoy camping
with my family, reading, and attending sporting events.
I love teaching second grade and want the children to enjoy school as much as
I do! I believe that given the right resources and encouragement all children
can learn. I want our classroom to be a place where all of the children are
able to show and develop the gifts and strengths that God has given them.
