This is my 13th year of teaching. I have taught kindergarten, first, and
second grade prior to teaching fourth. I truly believe I have finally found
my place at St. Anthony. This is my 11th year teaching at St. Anthony, and
my seventh year teaching fourth grade.
I have been married to my husband Mike for eight years. We have
been in our home for five years now and love living in the city of
Wauwatosa. I am the mother of two fur babies! Lucy and Anna are our two
beautiful, yet highly energetic Siberian Huskies. My husband and I are also in
the process of adopting a beautiful baby boy! He is currently in our home and
we are awaiting our upcoming court date.
I believe that all children can learn, if given the right tools. Our
classroom will strive to be a place where all children are given the
opportunity to show their individual strengths and build upon their unique
differences. I believe that learning can be fun, exciting, and challenging!
If children develop a love for learning at an early age, that love will
continue to grow as they do. Through the use of projects, technology, hands-
on activities, and cooperative learning, I will to my part to encourage and
motivate each child to achieve at their highest level. Education is a
partnership between home, school, and community. Through working together,
we can make 4th grade an enjoyable and challenging experience!
