Dear Parents,

Since we will be on a field trip next Friday, this newsletter will serve for the next two weeks.
The Spelling words and the Friday Math Memorywork will also be for the next two weeks with the tests
on Friday, May 15.
Today is the beginning of May. May 1st is dedicated to St. Joseph the Worker. The month of May is
dedicated to the Blessed Mother. During the month of May we pray a decade of the rosary every day.
We also honor Mary with a May Crowning that will be in church on Tuesday morning. You are invited to
join us. Please dress your child as if for Mass.
This week we began Junior Achievement. The focus for the first grade is FAMILIES---with a focus
on families and the economics of a community. Theresa Van Horn is the facilitator.
Please refer to the information regarding the Family Life program that we begin next week.

                                                                                                                                            Weekend Blessings,
