Welcome to a great school year! We are starting to settle into the routine
of "second grade." We have now completed our "Tucker Toolkit" book and you
should have your very own copy for your home. Ask your children about the
actresses that "performed" the strategies for them. We had a lot of fun!!
Book orders have been placed. They should arrive within a week. Thank you
to those ordering. We received 10 new books for our classroom library.
PLEASE send a snack/juice EVERY DAY!! Some of our students have no snack--
and they are hungry. I do have animal crackers for those that forget
occasionally--however some children are eating from that container every day.
We are celebrating Johnny Appleseed Day on Friday the 25th-with our sixth
grade buddies. Please send a clean apple.
