I am a graduate of Mount Mary College where I received my degree in
education. I have high expectations for each and every student that walks
into my classroom. I am thoroughly looking forward to starting my third
year of teaching at Saint Roman's!
This year, students will be writing for various purposes on a regular
basis when they enter social studies. In 6th grade students will be learning
about world culture through various activities and learning methods. In 7th
and 8th grade, students will be learning about the history of the United
States. They will be learning via different methods that allow the students
to have a high standard of learning. In all the classes, students will have
homework and project based on the unit or chapter of study.
Overall, each student will be learning how to be a successful and respectful
citizen in the classroom. Besides the core classes, students will be working
on learning
skills that they will need to be successful in high school and beyond. Our
mission also includes preparing students with the skills necessary to succeed
in high school and college. Therefore, we will read a wide variety of texts
and a large amount at that. Get ready! Get excited! (It is OK to
get excited about social studies.)
