My name is Kathy Ann Arnold and I am in my 31st year of teaching
here at St.Roman Parish School. I have enjoyed teaching grades two, three,
and this is my eighth year in fourth grade. The students, parents, and
staff have always made me feel like this is where I belong.
I graduated from UW-Milwaukee in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in
Education to teach grades 1st-6th. Over the years I have taken many courses
to update my licensure plus enrich teaching strategies. I have also
achieved my Advanced level of religious certification.
In my spare time I work for two different charities: Project Concern of
Cudahy and the Hubertus House of Horror in Hubertus. I love acting,
cooking, traveling around the U.S.A., going to NASCAR races, scrapbooking,
gardening, shopping at craft fairs, and visiting my family. Family is very
important to me, so I spend lots of time with my dad, two sisters, and my
nieces and nephews.
My motto with the students is...
Tell me and I forget,
Show me and I remember,
Involve me and I understand!
My goal is simple: to help them reach theirs.
Their goal is simple: to always do the best they can and never say, "I
can't!"
