What are the school hours?

SCHOOL HOURS
Monday through Friday
7:40 a.m. (tardy bell) - 2:30 p.m.

What are the cafeteria prices and can I join my child for lunch?

HOT LUNCH PRICES:
1/2 pint of milk and salad bar is included in each meal.
Grades Kindergarten - 3: $2.00
Grades 4 - 8: $2.50
Adult: $2.90
Senior: $2.50
A peanut butter and jelly sandwich can be substituted for any
main course on any day.
Milk with cold lunch: $.30
Records are kept for all lunches and milks purchased by a family
and will be applied as needed from week to week. When money in
your family account gets low a reminder letter will be sent home.

**Parents can join their child at any time for lunch. Our lunch
begins at 10:55 a.m. Call the school office at (262)966-2900 for
reservations before 9:00 a.m. on the day you will be coming.

When does my child need a note?

** I need a note from you each time your child is going home from 
school a different way.

What can I do to celebrate my child's birthday at school?

**Feel free to send in a treat for your child's birthday.  Our 
class loves goodies! Children with summer birthdays can decide
to celebrate their 1/2 birthday or celebrate at the end of the
school year in June.

What can I do to help my child's learning at home?

**READ, READ, READ for at least 20 minutes per day!
**Your child will be bringing home his/her Poetry Journal each
Friday. Read all poems over the weekend and return to school
each Monday.
**Practice your Popcorn Words starting in November.
**Make learning fun!

How do I order books from book clubs?

Your child will bring home book club flyers on Fridays.  They 
will be due the following week. Ordering is optional...but there
are great deals on super books! Here's how to order:
**Indicate your choices on the order form and write your
child's name.
**Total the order and pay by cash or check payable to
Scholastic.
**Place order form and cash/check in an envelope and return
to school.
