Take Home Activities

Take Home Activities

Throughout the school year your child will be bringing home a variety of class books and activity bags. These are books we have made or fun activities for you and your child to complete together. They will be rotating through the class so everyone gets a chance to share each item with his/her families. There will usually be a note explaining what all is included in the bag, along with any instructions. When done please return ALL of the materials to school. There will be another child eagerly waiting to take it home. I will be keeping a list at school, and marking children off when they have a turn.

Currently in rotation:

*Zero the Hero - Zero visits us every 10th day of school. He helps us learn the importance of a zero by showing us how it holds a place. Each zero day Zero the Hero gets to go home with one special child for tons of fun. He will come in a plastic bag with lots of zero activities for you and your child to do. You can keep him longer than one night, we just need him back by the next zero day!

*Clifford Backpack - Clifford's back and he has all new items in his bag. Included is a stuffed Clifford, puzzle, books, card game, and journal. Your child will have lots of fun with CLIFFORD!

*Mrs. Sedlachek's Class Gets Ready for the First Day of Kindergarten - We sure were busy getting ready for Kindergarten! Our class book is adapted from Miss Bindergarten Gets Ready For Kindergarten by Joseph Slate. Enjoy reading our first class book together!
