Anti-Bullying Programs

There are several definitions of bullying.  Most focus on an uneven balance of power. A one-time

incident is not considered bullying. There must be a pattern of behaviors. “Bullying is the intentional

harming or hurting of one person or their belongings, by another person or persons.  Bullying

behavior results when a person or group takes advantage of a perceived uneven balance of power

to harass another person” (Kocs, 1999, p. 3).

Don’t laugh at me, don’t call me names

Don’t get your pleasure from my pain

In God’s eyes we’re all the same

Someday we’ll all have perfect wings

Don't laugh at me.
