May 2nd – May 9th - MAPs testing continues
May 4th – We start ABC Countdown
May 13th- Field trip to Discovery World
May 16th - Spring Concert
May 19th – Bike Safety Day
Measurment
Unit 10 in math is all about measurement. We are going to be learning about lenght, volume, weight, and capacity. If you have any concerns or questions please give me a call!
Simple Machines
We are going to be doing some fun projects with simple machines. We will be working on this unit until the end of the year. So far we have been doing some great experiments.
Reading
We will be starting our final unit in reading called Achievements on May 9th. We will be learning about many different heroes.
Social Studies
In Social Studies this month, we will be talking about earning and spending money. We will also be creating our own businesses.
