I have been teaching at Trevor for ten years and at other schools prior to
that for twelve years. I am married with children and grandchildren. My
principal instrument is the flute which I enjoy playing at church, in
weddings, and just for enjoyment. Also, I love to sing and play the piano.
Teaching and working with students gives me great joy.
Outside of school, I fish, swim, read, and spend time with my family.
The mission for my class is to instill a love for music and to help each
student reach their highest potential. Performing music is a great self
esteem booster. I want my students to feel good about themselves and have a
sense of accomplishment after every performance. Also, I show my students
how important music is to everyday life and how it relates to core subjects.
