I have been the Speech/Language Pathologist for Trevor Grade School and then
both Trevor and Wilmot Grade Schools since 2004. I graduated with both a
bachelor's degree and a masters degree in Communication Sciences and
Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in December of 2003. I
am a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. I have a 21
year-old daughter named Amy who also attends UWM. She inspired me
to become a Speech/Language Pathologist because I was fascinated by watching
her learn to talk. I love reading, swimming, and watching movies with my
daughter.
My classroom mission is in conjunction with the school's mission
of: "Together with families and community, our mission is to create a student-
centered comprehensive learning environment fostering personal and academic
excellence." I will also strive to help children overcome their speech and
language differences.
