I have had the pleasure of teaching at Wilmot Grade School for twenty
years. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education at UW-
Stevens Point and my masters in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Louis
University. In 2007, I earned National Board Certification.
I believe in the importance of close family relations. I live in Twin Lakes
with my husband Ray, daughters Amy and Wendy, and my cats named "C". My
parents and in-laws also live in Twin Lakes. I have many relatives living in
the area and host a summer swim party and fall bonfire to help keep our
families close. My home is decorated with a red, white, and blue American
theme.
I enjoy spending time outdoors playing disc golf at Fox River Park, swimming
and gardening. I also enjoy watching NASCAR racing (go Matt Kenseth #17) and
professional football games on television. In my "extra time", I like
reading, creating crafts, and baking.
I believe that all students should have the opportunity to grow socially and
academically through a variety of learning experiences including direct
instruction, literacy and math learning stations, and hands on/real life
experiences.
I believe in creating a positive learning environment where my students will
develop a love for learning and look forward to coming to school every day.
