You will use these Internet sites to find information about the grasslands biome. 
Read each site and take notes as you need to. The information found on these
sites will help you answer the questions for this project. I hope you enjoy
learning more about the grasslands biome!

Use the links on the left-hand side of this Internet site to learn about the
climate and physical features of the grasslands, the types of grasslands,
grassland plants and animals, and the locations of the grasslands around the
world.
This is a very student-friendly site with lots of colorful photos and
easy-to-read maps and graphs.
Be sure to click through to each of the pages for the plants and animals.
There is a lot of wonderful information on each one.
What Are Grasslands Like?

This site provides definitions of the different types of grasslands.
The site also gives some information on reasons why the grasslands are threatened.
At the top of the page, you can click a link to view some images of grassland
biomes.

Learn more about the world's prairies by clicking here. 
This link will tell you what people in different parts of the world call a
prairie. The site also has a definition of prairies for you.

This site gives information on the climate, vegetation, and animals of the
grassland biomes. 
The link also tells you an interesting fact about a stinging plant found in
this biome.

This is from the University of California Museum of Paleontology's website.
This link will tell you about savannas or tropical grasslands as well as
temperate grasslands.

The site from Marrietta College in Ohio will also teach you about the climate
of the grasslands, where the grasslands are located, and the threats to the
grassland ecosystem.
