Role 4: Policymaker

Role Description

Since current educational policies concentrate on aggressions that take
place on school grounds, there is an urgent need for policies that directly
address incidences of cyberbullying. Given the complexity of the problem,
you will assume the role of a policymaker and locate your high school's
policy on bullying (does it includes specific mention of cyberbullying?),
research current laws regarding the issue, and provide insight into the
development of effective cyberbullying policies.

You may use the following websites for your research. If you find a
site that is not listed below, please get it approved before using it.

Make sure to cite your references in your notes and make a bibliography with
exact URLs.

Some Questions to Consider:
What is your high school's current policy regarding cyberbullying?
What are the differences between face-to-face bullying and cyberbullying
from a legal standpoint?
How can implementing policies help alleviate the problem of cyberbullying?
