At the start of World War II, the United States had employed a policy of isolationism. The use of this type of policy prevented the United States from openly declaring war on any county fighting in WWII. Although the United States was supplying goods and materials to Great Britain, it would not provide soldiers and was not at war with Germany or its allies. Then one day, America discarded the policy of isolationism and unreservedly plunged into one of the bloodiest and most destructive wars that has befallen the human race. This particular role will ask you to examine the reasons the United States decided to enter the war and the results of that decision. Directions: Carefully read the following questions.
