Conclusion

Once your mystery is finished, open your journal and take the time to 
reflect upon all you have done--and learned.  You have honed your writing 
skills, and, hopefully, taken your readers down some winding roads.  You 
have, hopefully, made inferences rather than statements.  You have, 
hopefully, used imagery to paint mind pictures rather than telling.  You 
have, hopefully, tossed out a red herring or two to throw your readers off 
the scent.  You have, most importantly, done your best.
