Milton Bradley, a longstanding board game company, has launched a contest
for sixth grade students! They want to create a board game about Greek
Mythology, and want the ideas and creativity of students like you. Grab
your creativity, your sense of fun, and your keen researching ability, and
LET'S GET STARTED...
You will work as part of a team of 4 experts:
1)The Greek gods and goddesses expert
2)The Greek heroes expert
3)The Greek monsters and creatures expert
4)The Greek other gods and goddesses expert
Each expert will research and take notes on at least 3 examples from their
area of expertise. After the research phase, you will come together to
share information and brainstorm game formats.Together you will design a
game that is not only fun and creatively designed, but educational as well.
You will create a prototype to test on students, parents, teachers,
and even the principal to gain feedback. From this feedback, you will then
finalize your game entry to turn in complete with directions and a summary
of the development process.
Finally you will make a commercial pitch to the "executives" of Milton
Bradley, me, and your classmates to persuade us that your game is the winner!
