It will soon by our November Thanksgiving break. The children will have
a break for a whole week so try to review letters M,T,A,S,P and C! Also
review those Unit 1 and Unit 2 reading words. We have had some illness and it
is still making rounds! Remember if your child has temperature and
especially vomiting, etc. they need to stay home until no fever. We have had
an average of 2 or 3 out for several days.
We continue to work on letters, sounds and words. Our story this week
is "Bear Snores On". We are working on unit 2 in our reading books. Please
continue to work on those letters and sounds at home. It really helps here
at school also!!
We have been working on numbers to 10, writing numbers, counting,
classifying and graphing, money,telling time on the hour and addition story
problems. We enjoyed the visit from Deputy Wratchford and seeing his police
car. The kids really enjoyed the ponies and Colin's Mom took pictures of all
who were here that day and sat/rode on the horse.
Hope everyone enjoyed the Fallfest on Saturday. I helped set things up
on Friday night so I know there were lots of prizes and fun things to do!!
We have added Almalee Simms to our class - or Allee as she prefers to be
called. We were glad to have the addition of another girl since we are a
little heavy on the boys!!
