We are close to the end of October...hard to believe! Just a reminder
that lunch bills have been sent home and are to be mailed to the Board
Office. Checks need to be made out to Grant County Schools. This is
different from last year and I wanted to make you aware of the change.
We continue to work on letters, sounds and words. Our story this week
is "Life in the Ocean". I am also completing some testing for report cards
and the Unit 1 test from our reading series. Please continue to work on
those letters and sounds at home. It really helps here at school also!! Pay
attention to the calendar when it gets updated for November in a few days.
Remember the Halloween party is on Thursday Oct. 29 at 2:15 - we will
also be attending a Rain Forest show sponsored by the PTO on Friday. Next
week we will be working on the letter Ss. In Math we continue to work on
number recognition to 10, writing the numbers, adding one more and
sorting/classifying.
