We have now completed our timed multiplication tests.  There has been a marked improvement in scores since the beginning of the year.  Students are encouraged to continue practicing their multiplication tables.  We are now doing timed division tests.  Since the class has worked so hard on mastering their multiplication tables, hopefully they will be able to apply what they have learned to their division facts. 

On April 20th, the fourth grade class celebrated its annual food festival.  The students were given the opportunity to taste traditional Native American recipes.  The food was great and the students seemed to really enjoy the activity.  Thank you to the parents who helped co-ordinate and prepare the food for this event.

Students in the 4th grade are busy preparing their Social Studies projects that they will present to students in the 3rd and 5th grades.  The project may deal with any of the topics that were covered in Social Studies class.
