Why doesn't my child bring home her/his Health book?

At this time we only have a class set of text books.  They will 
have some take home projects from time to time but for the most 
part your child will be doing all work in class.  It is important 
that they do all work in class and not put it off for the next 
day.

Should my student be doing homework in your class?

Most of our work will be done in class.  I try to give the 
students enough time to finish their work in class because of the 
shortage of text books.  They should however make arrangments 
with me if they do not finish in class.  If they do not finish in 
class it is up to the student to see the teacher to check out a 
book or set up a different due date.  "I didn't get enough time" 
will not be a reason for not finishing class work.

Why was this assignment worth so many points?

Projects are the worth the most points in this class.  They are 
worth alot of points in order to help the studnet stay on top of 
ther grade.  There is a down side to this in that if your child 
doesn't do a project their grade will go down.
