My name is Eric Reed, Teacher, Wrestling, Football, Strength Coach.
I was born in Amersfort, Holland. I went to Ironwood HS then attended GCC,
Utah Valley State, U of Arizona and currently Rio Salado and AT Still
University. My main area of interest is exercise science.
I an deeply involved in Strength and Conditioning, Powerlifting, and Olympic
lifting in the state of Arizona. I am a certified sports conditioning coach
and the state director for the NSCA. I am the owner/operator for Elite
Strength Systems a sports performance based training program. This summer I
worked with the Mesa CC football team and also spent time in Flagstaff
helping with the Lumberjacks strength and conditioning department. I am also
spent my summer working with professional and world classes coaches in the
search for better coaching and teaching methods for our youth athletes. This
will be my 5th year teaching. I am very excited about the upcoming year.
Family includes Son Conner(4), Daughter Cylee(2)
Career Foundations/Allied Health - This is a introduction class into the
Allied Health field. Students will receive a basic knowledge for different
career paths in the health field. Students will also be learning about the
different body systems, fitness and CPR/First Aid.
Sports Med. - This is an advanced class in which the students will be
learning in depth about the human body. We will cover strength and
conditioning, human movement, sports practices, common sports injuries,
prehabilitation and rehabilitation, taping and CPR/First Aid. This class
will require some out of class work and field trips.
