6th Grade Rocks!
Bible: Pray and Celebrate Jesus and all of His blessings! Write in your prayer journal and tell Jesus all the things you LOVE about Him! (He IS pretty AMAZING!)
Spelling: Study for the Spelling Bee. Make a list of 20 words from the list that you do not know how to spell. Use them in either sentences or define them using a dictionary. I will be making the weekly list from the "class list" that you girls come up with!
Reading: Choose a book from the library or swap with a friend that you would like to do a "Book Report" project on. Details to follow when you return to school. I would like it to be at least 250 pages. (Do not choose a book that you have already read). Bring it to school for "approval".
Writing: Write a 3 point paragraph on "What I hope for in 2010". What types of prayers, changes, goals, dreams and hopes would you like to see happen in the New Year? Don't forget to add and edit!
Science: Start to look online or take a trip to the Library to gather ideas for the Science Fair. We will be working on creating an "original hypothesis". We will hand out information packets when you return on Tuesday. Bring in a "Top Three" List of Ideas that you may consider working on in depth.
Math 87: Complete PS #60 (1-7 & 11-30) and Supp. Practice #56 (1-6).
