Welcome to school! During the first week we will be learning and practicing
the rules and procedures of the school and classroom. Students will become
familiar with their classmates and environment.
Our first unit of study will be prehistory. We will look at how scientists
learn about prehistory as well as study some of the famous finds scientists
have made. We will also begin our study of Geography as well as such things
as primary and secondary sources.
Our first project will be to construct a personal timeline. Students will be
bringing home information detailing that project. Students can also be as
creative as they choose. This is a chance to get to know their classmates
better and to help their classmates get to know them as well.
