This is my 10th year in the Las Virgenes Unified School District. I spent
the first nine teaching at Lindero Canyon Middle School. I attended U.C.
Irvine where I received my degree in Social Sciences. I also received my
teaching credential from U.C. Irvine. I am currently taking courses towards
a Masters in Education degree with a focus on integrating technology in the
classroom. I am married with two children ages six and two. My wife is also
a teacher and works at Medea Creek Middle School.
It is my responsibility to be an advocate for all students. Students will be
allowed to experience success without fear of failure in my classroom. I
will spark the enthusiasm to learn in every student. Along with curriculum,
a child needs strong morals, which will be fostered in addition to the
required curriculum. I will show all my students that learning can be fun
and encourage them to become lifelong learners. Finally, I will prepare my
students for the challenges facing them in the 21st century.
