How do I communicate a message to the teacher?

The best way to send a message to Mrs. Kerns is through email.

How can I find out what is for homework?

Students are responsible to list their daily homework assignments 
in their Eich Planner.
Homework is also updated daily on the Homework Hotline, 771-
1775, ext 113.
The website also details daily homework assignments.

Are students required to write the questions and the answers?

No, students do  not need to write the questions in responding to 
the text assessments.
Yet, students are required to answer questions using proper
grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
Students should write their responses in complete and
intelligently written sentences. In addition,
students should replace pronouns such as "he",
"it", and "they" with the specific name of
the person
or place being discussed.

How do I know how my child is doing?

Grades are posted weekly in the classroom.
World History grade checks will be distributed twice a month,
beginning Friday, September 21st. Each
student is required to return the grade check with their parent's
signature.

How can my child receive the class assignments if they are absent?

Students can make up assignments the day following an absence.
Distributed handouts are always filed against the wall, under the
" While You Were Out..." sign.
