check the homework and calendar links regularly, they have important
information and dates in them.
You can earn extra credit by simply checking this web-site frequently. I will
be asking math questions and all you have to do is e-mail me the answer for an
extra credit point (click on the Email on the left). Also, make sure you
include your name and period in your e-mail to make sure you get credit! These
questions are changed for each chapter and are removed before each chapter test.

Find the slope of the line that passes through the points (6,-3) and (-1,2).
Pre-algebra 1- Period 3 (Chapter 7):
What is the slope of the line that passes through the points (0,0) and (6,2)?
Geometry - Period 5 (Chapter 8):
The length of a slide at a water park is 50 feet from the top of the slide to ground level. The top of the
slide is 20 feet above the ground. What is the approximate measure of the angle formed by the top of
the slide and the vertical support to the ground? Round to the nearest degree.
