Dear Circle View Family,

The Circle View PTO is excited to offer a new service to our Circle View community! Tanaka Farms, a local farm located in Irvine, is offering a once a week delivery of fresh organic produce straight to our school. The cost is $25 a week with 4 weeks paid for at a time. Produce is picked the morning of delivery and brought to the school. Produce needs to be picked up on Wednesdays between the hours of 10:30am and 1:00pm on the back side of the MPR (facing the parking lot). You MUST be able to pick up your produce, or make arrangements for pick up, during this time period in order to participate. Tanaka Farms recycles their boxes so please bring bags (grocery or canvas) to place your produce in.

Here are some key points that we feel benefit our Circle View community.

-Fresh picked organic produce (fruits and vegetables)

-Produce is seasonal and therefore will change, adding variety and exposing your family to new foods.

-Supports a local farm.

-Helps support our PTO as we receive $5.00 for each box of produce ordered.

-Anyone can participate (family, friends, neighbors) as long as produce is picked up during designated times!

New to this delivery is the Fruit Only Box. The Farm is offering a fruit only box option.  The fruit is conventionally grown and Tanaka Farms will be purchasing the majority of what is in this box.   You may receive the vegetable/a few fruits box and/or the fruit only boxes.  All boxes are $25.00 each. (Thus if you want a fruit and a vegetable box each week you would pay $150 for the month.)  You may also purchase different boxes on different weeks, if you want every other box to be fruit only pay the $75 and mark the form below with V for vegetable or F for fruit.  It you do not mark the boxes below you will receive a vegetable box for that delivery.  We will not be calling you to ask you, this is your responsibility to be clear.

If you are interested in participating in this service please return the form below along with your payment of $75 (or $150 if you want both boxes every week) made out to CVPTO to the office by Wednesday, October 28^th in an envelope marked Tanaka Farms.  Delivery dates and payment schedule are shown below. Payments must be made by due date shown and are for the four consecutive dates that follow.  You may subscribe to more than one block at a time (ie: send in your check for $150 for the next 2 sessions).  Once signed up weekly email reminders will be sent to you.
