August 10-14
Nightly math homework is beginning this week. Please take a moment to check
your child's completed homework each night for accuracy, sign or initial it,
and have your child return it to school the next morning. We will review the
homework in class at the beginning of each day.
This week we are modeling different spelling practice strategies in class.
Regular homework will begin next week.
Second graders should be reading at home each night and will record their
reading on a log as part of the nightly homework.
