Mrs. Sagud
Hello! My name is Roberta Sagud. This is my 35th year in the teaching
profession! I received my undergraduate degree from San Diego State in
Liberal Studies and my M.S. in Education Administration from Pepperdine. My
husband and I live in Irvine with our Shipoo puppy, Lola. We have two great
sons and a new daughter in-law who give us much joy! Jeff, age 27, is in
marketing and web management at an internet firm. Scott, age 29, is a senior
clothing designer at DC clothing in Huntington Beach. Alissa, age 29, is an
event planner. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading,
traveling and going to the theater. I have taught all of the primary grades,
and find second grade to be my favorite grade, by far. My other favorite
things are coffee lattes in the morning, a good mystery book and Plaza Vista
School!
Mrs. Smith
Hi! I�m Christy Smith. I am married to Mr. Smith and I have 2 daughters,
Brianna and Nicole. Brianna is in her 2nd year of college and Nicole is a
Senior at Irvine High School. Brianna coaches JV Cheer at Irvine High and
Nicole is a captain of the Varsity Soccer team! In my free time I like to
spend time with my family and my dog, Sierra. I love to travel, shop,go to
Disneyland and watch football. My favorite color is pink and I love
chocolate!
Ms. Busch
Hi! My name is Laura Busch. I am a California native, and a graduate of
UCI.
This is my eleventh year teaching second grade at Plaza Vista. I have five
children. My oldest, Joe graduated from U.C.S.D. in mechanical engineering
and is a Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala. Katherine is a Chinese Linguist,
living in Oahu. Marygrace is an Art student, still in college. Clare graduated
from Boston University last June, and is currently in Istanbul studying
Turkish. Jimmy is a biology student, and lives at home with me. I also have
two dogs, Chloe and Benji. I love second grade!
Mrs. Greenberg
Hi! My name is Janet Greenberg. I have been with the Irvine Unified School
District since 1989. I have taught grades 1, 2, 3, and 4. My husband, Jeff
and I live right here in Westpark with our three daughters, Jackie, Jamie,
and Jenny. Jeff and I have been married for 27 years. Our daughters
attended Plaza Vista from Kindergarten through 8th grade and now they are
enrolled at Woodbridge High School. When not at school, I enjoy gardening and
taking my dog, Kid to dog park.
