Hello parents and students,
¡Bienvenidos!/Welcome!to the 2011/2012 school year. Spanish classes for the
Junior High students will begin this week on Tuesday, August 30th. Each class
will have Spanish instruction three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and
Thursday). The time periods for each class are as follows: 8th grade, from
8:55-9:40 a.m. and 7th grade from 10:40-11:35 a.m.
Please refer to the ENLACES section of my website to access the homework
calendar. This year I've added a few new links to websites that can supplement
what your child will be learning in class. I encourage them to have fun with the
flash card programs and games,which will reinforce verb conjugations and
vocabulary.
Also,if there are any parents who are willing to help me with bulletin boards
this year,I would appreciate it. The Junior High students will do a number of
projects throughout the school year and I like to display them. There are two
projects that will be assigned in September (7th & 8th) and one in October(8th
grade). Please notify me if you are able to volunteer your time.
