7th Grade:
Study chapter vocabulary that you made flashcards for last week. Bring the
following to class tomorrow: Blank note cards, text, notebook w/ paper and
workbook. There will be a lot of writing in class tomorrow and I want you to
be prepared.
8th Grade:
Answer the questions on page 353 in the text under Empecemos a escribir. Write
10 separate sentences to answer the questions and leave a space in between
each answer. Some of the questions can be answered in a compound sentence. Use
the chapter vocabulary on pages 350-351 to help you answer each question. This
assignment is due on THURSDAY, HOWEVER, I highly recommend you start the
assignment tonight! Study your chapter vocabulary and review class notes for a
possible quiz, later in the week.

7th Grade: Complete the writing assignment we discussed this morning (text
page 125 #'s 4-7). Also
complete workbook pages 45-46. I'm hope flu that most , if not all of you,
were able to finish both
assignments with the 25 minutes of class time given to you today. Please
review the new chapter
vocabulary that you made flashcards for last week.

7th Grade:
Complete the worksheet(PP.90-91) that was handed out in class today. Be
careful to choose the correct conjugation of the verb Gustar for each
sentence. Make sure you write a sentence for each picture/food that is
illustrated on page 91. You're expected to write 12 separate sentences for
each illustration and state whether you like or dislike each particular food.
If the picture illustrates more than one piece of fruit or vegetable, make
sure you write the plural conjugation.
Vocabulary Key: Las frambuesas = Raspberries
Las aceitunas = olives
La sandia = watermelon
Los pepinos = cucumbers
Los Rabanos = radishes
This assignment is due Tuesday,2/14. Please also study your flashcards for a
quiz. Use your dry erase boards to help you practice spelling.
8th Grade: Make flashcards for chapter vocabulary on pp.350-351 and 354-355.
Study for a pop quiz that will be given early in the week. Complete workbook
pages 116-117 for next Tuesday.
