Dear Parents,

Thanks to all of you who worked, assisted, participated and attended our Catholic Schools Week activities last week. Your attendance at the Mass and Open House on Sunday demonstrated your commitment to your faith and the value you place upon Catholic education. Catholic schools are made up of so much more than just the students and teachers. It is the entire community that is willing to give of their time and treasure that makes Catholic schools what they are. We are truly blessed to have such strong support and we do appreciate you and your efforts a great deal.

A special thanks to the Student Council for planning a great week of activities for the students. From delivering cookies to our community helpers, serving coffee and donuts to our parents, providing the teachers with brunch, to organizing the teacher/8th grade volley challenge (which the 8th grade lost – both games) your leadership skill showed through. Great work!

A big thank you also goes to all who came out to support the Adventure City Auction Underwriting Event. It was well attended and everyone had a good time. Thanks to our Auction Committee who worked so hard to prepare this event. Don’t forget the Sushi Dinner is just around the corner. Your responses are due by February 15. There are only 100 seats available. Speaking of dinners, the 8th Grade Pasta dinner will be held this Saturday. If you’re looking for a great Italian Dinner this weekend, check it out.

Things to look forward to this week include, Kindergarten Assessments on Thursday, February 9; Valentine’s Dance for the junior high on February 10; First Reconciliation Parent Meeting on February 15; and the Talent Show will be held on February 17. We have a lot going on.

God’s blessing upon you all.
Mr. John Loffer

We send a huge thank you to all the volunteers who’ve helped with the Book Fair this year, and to all the teachers, students and parents for participating. This is our library’s largest fundraiser and you are always so generous. This is such a fantastic fundraiser for the students, promoting reading and earning money for your SNCS library. Please take some time to think and pray about how you can support the Pastoral Services Appeal. Our children have a big, safe, comfortable place for assemblies, P.E., talent shows, spring musicals, Special Person’s Day, Pancake Breakfast, and more. It would be amazing to have 100% participation from our school families this year! Please consider making a pledge of any size this year to show our appreciation to Fr. Pat.
