I have been in the Teaching Profession for 34 years, 22 of them teaching
Physical Education at Salida Middle School. While in High School I started
the first Girls Track Team at my school. I enjoy all sports, and as an
adult have played on softball and soccer teams. I also enjoy Ballroom
Dancing and have participated in several competitions. If you have any

To instill in my students a sense of personal responsibility to attain and
maintain a healthy body and appreciate the quality of life that comes with
maintaining an active lifestyle. I believe a child should strive to begin
their active lifestyle when they are young and carry it over into adulthood.
