Week of 9/1 thru 9/5:

Monday (9/1):  Labor Day Holiday--No school today.

Tuesday (9/2):  1. Give your parent/guardian the syllabus you received in class
today.  Have them review it (as well as the login instructions to the grade
website) and then have them fill out and sign the Parent/Guardian portion of
the  Syllabus Signature Sheet at the back of the syllabus.  Make sure you fill
out and sign the Student portion at the top of the Syllabus Signature Sheet,
detach the entire page from the rest of the syllabus, and return it to class
(due tomorrow).  2. Before you take your textbook home on the day you check it
out of the library, bring it by Room 622 and have Mr. Bleecker confirm that
the textbook is yours (make sure you have written your name AND school year IN
INK in the appropriate place on the inside cover).

Wednesday (9/3):  1. If you haven't handed in your signed Syllabus Signature
Sheet, please do so tomorrow.  2. Before you take your textbook home on the
day you check it out of the library, bring it by Room 622 and have Mr.
Bleecker confirm that the textbook is yours (make sure you have written your
name AND school year IN INK in the appropriate place on the inside cover).

Thursday (9/4):  Write at least 2 paragraphs (at least 5 sentences per paragraph)
in answer to "Why Study History?"  You can utilize any of the ideas discussed in
