Welcome to my page.
I started teaching in 1968. I hold 3 California Teaching Credentials:
K-12, Community College, & Administrative Services. I went to St. Gabriel
School, Mercy High School, CCSF, and San Francisco State University. I have a
Master's degree in Educational Administration with emphasis in both curriculum
development and assessment. I hold a Master Catechist certificate from the
Archdiocese of San Francisco, and maintain my theology certification. I
arrived at St. Cecilia in 1979, and have made room 23 my home away from home.
I have been recognized by the National Catholic Educational Association
for "generous services...to elementary education," am the recipient of the
Girl Scout "Thanks Badge" for leadership excellence, and have been recognized
and awarded by the Marine Science Institute as an "Outstanding Science Educator."
I am a 3rd generation native San Franciscan. I am an SC parishioner,
serving as an Eucharistic Minister and a Lector. I serve on the Board of
Trustees for the Marine Science Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated
to inspiring respect & stewardship for the marine environment through
experiential learning and discovering our SF Bay.
Mr. Little and I have been married for over 28 years. At present, we
have 1 adorable cat named Flip, and 1 fabulous granddaughter named Joy. We
are very close to my brother and both of my parents; we often eat and travel
together.
When I have a non-school moment, I love to draw and color, am an avid
amateur photographer, and very much enjoy reading. I am a huge Mickey Mouse
fan and Disney collector. For vacations, we enjoy Hawaii, anything Disney,
North America, and have started exploring Europe & Scandinavia.
I look forward to meeting and learning more about you!
My personal teaching mission is to inspire and facilitate growth and
learning in children as they spiritually, academically, physically, and
emotionally experience life.
The mission of SC is the successful accomplishment by each student of our
Schoolwide Learning Expectations. For the 2010-2011 school year, we are living
the theme: Don't Stop Believing!
