We are collecting vegetable cans for our Thanksgiving Feast. Please send empty
and washed containers to class. Thank you.
We are also having a canned food collection for our Prayer Service on November
23. Each child needs to bring one can. Thank you.
Please work with your child on number recognition and counting. This quarter
we will test the children on number recognition and counting to 20. Once your
child is successful with those, we will continue to 50 and on to 100.
Wednesday is our field trip to Hidden Villa Farm. All children need to come to
class at 8:00 a.m. and will be dismissed at 2:30 p.m. A letter with more
details is attached to Monday's newsletter.
Please return all library books. Your child may not borrow another book unless
the first one is returned. Our library days are Tuesday and Thursday.
Please help your child make a sandwich for the needy and bring it to class on
Wednesday.
Show and Tell is Friday - please bring something that begins with t.
All children should bring a snack. Thank you for packing it in a backpack
pocket that is easily accessible. We are getting out to recess much quicker.
Math vocabulary. Please visit it and check out our words for Chapter 1 to 7.
Please help your child with the meanings of each word. The children do not
need to know how to read or spell the words.
