Dear Parents and Students,
Our second book report will be a Western Theme. Western books can be
anything that involves the American West, moving west, or frontier
life. Books like The Indian in the Cupboard, The Adventures of Tom
Sawyer, and the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn are also acceptable.
Series of books like the Little House series are also popular reading.
I have linked a western booklist to our class webpage under links.
You do not have to choose one of these books, but they can give you an
idea of books to choose from. These books are due in class by Friday,
October 9. The complete assignment and grading rubric for the
assignment are listed below. The book reports are due on Friday,
November 6.
