The adults in your life are right: Breakfast really is the most important meal of the day. Not only does it give you energy to start a new day, but breakfast is linked to many health benefits, including weight control and improved performance. With that in mind - I'm excited to let you know that Summit will start serving breakfast beginning Monday, November 3rd. The cost is $1.50 with reduced breakfast costing 30 cents. If you receive a free lunch, you are eligible for a free breakfast, too. Menus will be posted on our school website. Breakfast will be served from 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM. So give a Shout Out to Ms. Wilson in the kitchen for making this happen!

Informational Notice

Once or twice a year, missionaries from local church groups visit the neighborhood surrounding Summit Intermediate School and attempt to hand out religious materials. The laws prohibit them from distributing materials on school property, but if they are on public sidewalks they may distribute materials to the public. We want to remind students that they do not have to accept the materials being offered and that we encourage them to check with their parents before accepting any materials outside of school.
