FOGGY DAY SCHEDULE - NOT AT UCS

University Charter School does not have a foggy day schedule.
If Lemoore area schools call a foggy day, our buses will not run in the morning. School will
start at 8:00 and we will have our normal dismissal time. The buses will run in the afternoon.
Classes at the UCS campus will remain on regular schedule and parents and students should make a
safe attempt to arrive to class on time. Classes scheduled at Liberty Middle School will be
canceled and these students may arrive early at UCS and report to the office for assigment to a
classroom. Afternoon buses will operate normally unless canceled all day.

TARDIES
*****************************************************
There has been an increase in tardies by students to school. Please be aware that instruction
begins at 8:00 AM every school day. Students arriving after this time should report to the
office for a pass to class. Students arriving more then 30 minutes late to school will be
considered Very Tardy. Habitual very tardies will result in disciplinary action and ultimately a
referral to the Charter Council and/or School Attendance Review Board (SARB).

ABSENCE NOTES AND LETTERS

Please make sure to clear up any unverified absences you may have for the month. Any
uncleared absences will be marked as unexcused. You may call our office at 924-6890 if you have
any questions regarding your child's absence. You may also leave a message after school hours or
the weekend on our message machine.

"BACKPACK MAIL ALERT" ------ BUS STOPS - GOING HOME

This is a reminder that our students may on some days be dismissed earlier than students from the
rest of the Lemoore Union Elementary School District. These early out days allow us to provide
special services and resources to our students and staff. It is extremely important that our
students not loiter at these stops nor trespass onto school campuses which can and do create
disruptions to the regular business at these schools. Your continued cooperation is an ongoing
condition of our use of these schools as bus stops for our students. Thank you for your support.
