**Homework is assigned daily Monday through Thursday. (There are a few long
term projects assigned throughout the year that might be worked on over a
weekend if necessary)
*Students are required to write down all assignments from the board in
their Reminder Binder. The students have class time to do this. It is the
student's responsibility to be sure that he/she goes home with all
necessary materials to complete the homework. If, for some reason
homework is not done, the student will complete the assignment(s) at
recess the next day.
**Homework consists of daily reading (20-30 minutes) and 45 minutes - 1
hour (depending on the child's speed) of other assignments which reinforce
what has been learned at school. These might include math, spelling,
writing, social studies, and science. If your child is struggling with an
assignment and he/she has tried for at least one hour (solid work time!!) to
complete it, please send a note with him/her so that I can give him/her
additional help in class.
