Shaoguan Art Event

The 3rd annual Painting and Calligraphy Competition for thousands of Schoolchildren was held in Shaoguan Zhongshan Park,during the Chinese Lunar New Year 2002(February,2002).The event was co-sponsored by Shaohua Hotel, Shaoguan Cultural and Education Bureau.Three 2nd graders from Zhixin Elementary School won the "Shaohua Cup".

Chinese Brush Calligraphy is a traditional cultural art. Many students like to practise it in their spare time.The winners from Zhixin Elem.:

Art Event in Shaoguan Zhongshan Park Art Event in Guangzhou

1(Zhu Jieyu, Tang Jun & Zhang Qianyao ) 2) In the summer of 2001 "Nongfu Shanquan Cup"Guangdong provincial level art competition was held in Guangzhou,the capital city of Guangdong Province.Zhu Jieyu is the short girl on the right who holding her calligraphy work at the competiton .The participants from the whole province to attended the Guangdong Provincial Art Competition in Guangzhou August,2001.

There were two students from Zhixin Elementary School,one was the the 5th grader Ye Huihua and the other was the 2nd grader Zhu Jieyu.Zhu Jieyu won the Silver Medal,and Ye Huihua won the bronze medal..
